It’s a mix of the architecture, food, terraces, parks, culture, art, attention to details, and a lot more. Apéro. How every arrondissement has its own character. How people sit by the Seine in the afternoon.
The main reason is the feeling I get. Ever since I lived here it’s felt like my second home. How about you?
After reading the first sentence I thought: wow, thats such a similar timeline from my own. I quit my job around the same time and bought a one-way-ticket to Sweden. Congratulations on your milestone! 💪
I love this! I was also a Head of Marketing and quit my corporate job and moved to France. I’ve never been happier, I can completely relate to that feeling on Monday you had after Easter break. I still never take those feelings for granted!
Makes me happy to read this! Thank you for sharing your experience💛 And you’re right, we should often remind ourselves of this feeling. When did you decide to do this? I still live in Norway, by the way, the one-way ticket was just for an extended holiday on my own. But have lived in France some years ago and will probably do it again🙏
I moved to France about 2.5 years ago and quit my job at Sephora corporate about 3.5 years ago. Congrats on living in Norway and keep up the great work! Love your posts :)
I’m curious : why do you love Paris so much ? (I’m a Parisian fyi)
